Meet Mochi of New York, NY

Please Note: This animal is listed as a courtesy to another organization or individual. Please be sure to contact the foster/caretaker for more information about him/her. My story Here's what the humans have to say about me:Mochi is a beautiful, healthy 4 year old mini American Eskimo. He is extremely loving, intelligent, playful, vocal, & a little mischievous! Whenever you come home he will shower you with kisses to tell you how much he missed you. He loves tearing apart toys to find the squeakers inside! He has severe anxiety that manifests as resource guarding, stranger & dog reactivity, & sleep startle. NB: Bite History. He has improved significantly with medication & positive reinforcement (R+) training but still has a ways to go. I’m looking for an adopter who would be dedicated to working on his training, has a yard for him to play in, & is located somewhere rural or suburban. He needs at least 1 hour of exercise per day & plenty of mental stimulation. He should only be left alone for 4-ish hours at a time & would thrive with structure & routine. Adopter must be very patient, experienced with dog behavior issues & R+ training, and devoted to loving Mochi unconditionally through his ups & downs.   For more information please contact  [email protected]. Rehoming fee applies.
