We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter - Phineas needs a foster or adopter to make his way to the DC area   Phineas is Looking For:    Looking for a loyal companion with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging? Say hello to Phineas! This handsome 1-year-old Retriever mix is the perfect blend of playful energy and gentle affection. With his sleek tan coat and soulful eyes, Phineas turns heads wherever he goes—and wins hearts just as easily. Weighing in at around 40 pounds, Phineas is the ideal medium-sized pup: big enough for adventures, small enough to snuggle on the couch. He’s still young and full of curiosity, always ready to explore the world around him, whether that’s a hike in the woods, a romp in the backyard, or a walk through the neighborhood. Phineas gets along well with other dogs and loves meeting new people. He’s eager to learn, making him a great candidate for continued training and bonding time with his future family. Whether you’re looking for a jogging buddy, a road trip pal, or just a furry friend to brighten your days, Phineas is up for the job. What My Foster Says About Me:   Coming Soon! Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
