CHEVY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Chevy     Best Guess for Breed: Cavalier King Charles spaniel and poodle mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years as August 2024   SEX: female   Approximate Weight:  18 pounds as of 8/6/24   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen Chevy with cats or kids, but she can be tested.   Currently Living at:  Shelter - Chevy needs a foster or forever home!   Special adoption considerations:  Chevy comes from a commercial breeding operation and has never lived in a home before. The breeding operation voluntarily shut down, and this adorable pup has a chance to learn what it's like to be a real dog!   Chevy is Looking For: I want to enjoy all the good things that all dogs want - play time and cuddles! I'm also looking for long sniffy walks and romps in the park and all the adventures my humans can dream up. I'd love to go to puppy school to learn how to be a good girl. I'm looking forward to knowing where I belong, knowing I'm safe and loved, and being a loyal companion. I'm not too big, so maybe you and I could see about the whole lap-dog thing too. If you want to take me for a drive, offer to adopt me!   What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once Chevy spends some time in her DC foster home. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
