CASH NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Name: Cash         Best Guess for Breed:  Terrier mix    Best Guess for Age:   5 months as of December 2023        SEX:    Male   Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!):  20 lbs as of 12/7/23   Gets Along With:   Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get his freedom ride up here!   Special Adoption Considerations:  Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.  Cash is Looking For:  His forever family! This super cute baby pup is a slight exception to "money isn't everything" because - well, just look at him. Isn't he something?!?! Cash is an adorable little pup right now and he's all about play and exploration and snuggles. And as he grows older, he'll still be all about play and exploration and snuggles - but in a bigger world! From the neighborhood to the local parks to trips to mountains and all the adventures his humans can dream up - yes, please. He'd love to make new pup and people pals along the way too. And to go to puppy school so he can show you how fast he learns to be the goodest boy.    But most of all - he wants to know who his humans are, that he's safe and loved and under his own roof, and whose lap he gets to curl up next to (or in!) during the winter months to come. What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once he has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with his foster Puppy Vetting Requirements:        Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.      Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!  TO ADOPT:       The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.    If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
