RAIN NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Rain Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 10 months as of December 2023 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 14 lbs as of 12/4/23; might have a bit more to grow Gets Along With: Other dogs! Currently lives with a cat and is doing well! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Rain is Looking For: Get a load of this scruffy cutie! He and his brother Lobo have enjoyed growing up together but now they're eager to split up and get their own human families. Rain is barely out of puppyhood and he hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet. He's eager to experience new places, people, and pups! Long sniffy walks, romps in the park, all the adventures his new humans can dream up - yes, please! He has also added "variety of toys, quality kibble, and cushy dog bed" to his wish list. Dog school would be great, too, so he can show how super smart he is.But what he wants most of all is to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof. In exchange, he promises loyal companionship, adoring gazes, and tail wags. What do you say? Is this ball of awesomeness the one you see trotting next to you? What My Foster Says About Me: "Rain is such a chill and curious pup! He loves to snuggle up and cuddle you on the couch, he’s not a barker and has gotten along well with my cat (no aggression on either side). He isn't the most active dog but loves a good walk. He does well on a leash and is interested in all the new smells, including other dogs and humans (he does well with both). Rain also sleeps through the night in his crate with no whining and hasn't had any accidents in the house. Rain also loves his kibble and treats. He seems highly trainable and is currently working on sitting and staying." Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
