Name: Star Sex: Female Estimated Age: About 12 weeks old (as of 1/5/24) Best Guess for Breed: Terrier Mix Weight: About 14 lbs (as of 1/5/24) Good With: Dogs, people, cats and kids - puppies are in the prime of socialization! Story: Star was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. Star is a super sweetie that loves all people and gets along great with other dogs and puppies. She knows just how to get comfortable up on the couch with her humans, and will love to join you on walks and trots around the neighborhood. Star is just looking for someone to be her new best furend and we know that she will repay them with endless amounts of love and tail wags. As a puppy, Star will need an adopter who is committed to setting her up for success by enrolling in obedience training and exercising her both mentally and physically. She will also need love, patience, and socialization in order to thrive! What my foster says: Star is such a perfect creature! She is super snuggly and would much prefer to be curled up next to you than anything else. She does the cutest little pittie hops when chasing her toys and does a great job entertaining herself with toys. She most enjoys squeaky toys that are much bigger than her. She uses her pee pads and will be very easy to potty train when she’s fully vaccinated. She’s a smart girl and also already knows sit! She’s the perfect little baby!
