MILO NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Milo and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (April 21st) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Falls Church (6100A Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22044)!   Name: Milo         Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and lab mix Best Guess for Age:   1 year as of March 2024       SEX: Male   Approximate Weight:  35 lbs   Gets Along With:   Other dogs! We haven't seen him with kids or cats but he can be tested   Currently Living at:   DC area foster home.   Milo is Looking For: His forever home! Through no fault of his own, this handsome sweetie ended up in the shelter. He's a young'un and is full of that awesome youthful energy. He's eager to have his own humans to trot alongside on sniffy walks, romps in local parks, and all the adventures they can dream up! Exploring all the toys sounds great too, as well as some delicious kibble and a cushy dog bed.   Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved and under his own roof every time the sun goes down. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes, cuddles, and loyalty for all his days.   What do you say? Is he the one you see trotting by your side?  What My Foster Says About Me:   Milo is easy going and very lovable. He loves to lean in for hugs and little kisses. He goes with the flow but also loves to play. He will chill on his dog bed next to me while I sit at my desk or will snuggle with you on the couch.  With other dogs he is very friendly, gentle and always wants to say hi. He doesn't seem to have an aggressive bone in his body. He hasn't had any accidents in the home. Milo is such a love and would make a great addition to a family or someone living alone or someone with another dog looking for a buddy. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
