LONDON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   London         Best Guess for Breed:   Lab Mix    Best Guess for Age:   10 months as of 7/1/25         SEX:    Female   Approximate Weight:   33lbs as of 7/1/25; might have a bit more to grow   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters.   Currently Living at:  Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus. London needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here! Special Adoption Considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think London would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   About London: From the land of tea and tail wags (okay, maybe more like Puerto Rico), London is ready to jump your heart! This proper young lady is full of charm, a touch of sass, and just enough wiggle to keep things posh but playful. She’s ready to learn the manners of royalty and is always down for a spot of snuggles. Her favorite activities include: Afternoon paw-teas A game of fetch-and-chips Long strolls where she can stop and sniff the roses (and lampposts) If you're looking for a pup who’s got Big Ben-energy with a soft side, look no further — London is calling. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
