Meet Carol
CAROL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Come meet Carol and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (Jan. 7th) from 12-3 pm at the PETSMART in ALEXANDRIA (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)! Name: Carol Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Mix Best Guess for Age: 8 months as of Dec. 2023 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 30 lbs as of 12/5 (still has some growing to do!) Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen Carol with cats or kids but she can be tested! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Carol is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Carol! I put on my very best smile for my picture so that you'll fall in love and have to adopt me. Is it working? I'm still a young pup, so all I need is lots of exercise, opportunities to play with other pups, and some training and I will reward you with eternal love and a lifelong best friend! What do you say? Do you wanna pick me? What My Foster Says About Me: Carol is an absolute gem, full of curiosity and a love for exploring the world. This sweet dog may be shy and on the submissive side initially, but once she opens up, she loves showing off her silly and goofy puppy side! Her gentle nature shines through, especially with kids, as she enjoys lying with them and getting tons of belly rubs. Seeking love and attention is one of Carol's favorite pastimes, and she knows just how to capture your heart with the cutest underbite that leads to some truly hilarious expressions. Her charm extends beyond appearances – she's a pro at the dog park, improving daily with basic obedience training and becoming a quick learner. In the crate, Carol does fairly well; she may whine at bedtime, but she settles herself after a short while, sleeping through the night without any accidents. Carol is on her way to mastering daytime potty training, with minimal accidents, and is growing braver about car rides, sitting quietly in the back. Her love for chew toys and chasing balls showcases her playful side, and at the end of an adventurous day, she loves to snuggle next to her human companions or curl up on her cozy dog bed. Carol is the sweetest pup with the cutest little face and will surely fill her future forever home with some extra puppy love! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
