SKITTLES NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Skittles       Best Guess for Breed:  Retriever and basset hound mix  Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of April 2024     SEX:  Female   Approximate Weight:  41 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen Skittles with kids or cats but she can be tested   Currently Living at:  South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get her freedom ride up here   Skittles is Looking For: Her forever home!This young girl with the awesomely cute stubby legs is eagerly looking forward to her new chapter. The one where she gets her own humans for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her family can dream up. She hasn't seen nearly enough of the world yet and is looking forward to making new pup and people pals along the way. Exploring all the toys to see what she likes best, quality kibble, and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well.    She promises lots of adoring gazes and love and loyalty for all her days in exchange. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
