Name: Radar Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix - maybe some cairn terrier in there Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of May 2025 SEX: Male Approximate Weight: 21 lbs as of 5/9/25; should be stable but he could still have a bit more to grow Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Texas shelter; will come to the DC area Radar is Looking For: His forever home - he's young and hasn't seen nearly enough of the world. He's looking forward to having his own humans to show him all of the exciting things life has to offer. Trips to parks, playdates with pup pals, and new adventures are on his to-do list! Oh, and lots of cuddles!Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application
2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit.
3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
