KEATON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Keaton         Best Guess for Breed: Husky and Carolina dog mix  Best Guess for Age:   1.5 years as of May 2025         SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight: 46.8 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at: Texas shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get on a freedom flight here on May 17!   Keaton is Looking For:   Adventure and love and all those wonderful things that cherished family dogs get! Keaton is a young boy eager to burn off all that awesome energy on romps and world exploration - he'd love to make pup pals along the way as well. Dog school would be good, so he can show how super smart he is. And - look at those heterochromatic eyes. That plus the coat - yeah, he probably has husky in him. If you know huskies, you know they have personalities for days. Keaton is eager to have humans who get him, who love dogs that are energetic and expressive.    In exchange his humans get a happy, loyal, loving, adventurous companion right there by their sides. What do you say? Is Keaton the one you're looking for? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once he has spent some time in foster care. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. Adoption Process
1. Complete Adoption Application 2. Phone interview, vet check and home visit. 3. Contract signed (requirements include keeping a pet ID on dog at all times, keeping the dog as a pet, spaying/neutering puppies by 6 monts of age, returning the pet to Lucky Dog in the adopter cannot take care of it at any point in the future, and providing adequate vet care for the rest of the dog's life.
