Meet Twiggy – Our Tiny Queen with a Big Heart (and butt!) Twiggy is a 7-year-old Chihuahua with curves, charm, and a whole lot of love to give! Once tipping the scales from too many treats and not enough walks, this adorable girl has been working hard on her weight-loss journey and has already shed an impressive 10 pounds! While she still has a bit to go, Twiggy is well on her way thanks to a healthy diet and plenty of TLC. Twiggy is the definition of a gentle soul. She’s incredibly sweet, loves being around people, and is a total cuddlebug. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys calm company over high-energy adventures. Her ideal day? Lounging by your side, soaking up attention, and maybe waddling out for a short stroll or two. Because of her size and low energy, Twiggy would do best in a home without too many stairs. She has no medical conditions—her extra weight was simply due to being overfed in her previous home. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready for a fresh start with someone who understands her journey and will help her stay on track (no extra snacks, please—no matter how cute she looks!). If you're looking for a laid-back, loving companion with a heart as big as her butt used to be, Twiggy is your girl. Adoption Process
Fees are: Puppies 0 - 6 months $495 Puppies 6 - 12 months $450 Adult dogs $395 Senior dogs 8 years and over $195 Adult cats $150 Kittens $195 or $250 for a pair Senior cats 8 years and over $95 Our adoption application is found and submitted through our website derryhumanesociety.com Once an application is submitted, it will be sent to an adoption counselor who will reach out to you if you may be a good match.
