Underhound Railroad

Underhound Railroad was formed in 2009 by a group of friends, with a mission of rescuing innocent dogs from death row in Connecticut shelters. Underhound now tries to help wherever possible, focusing primarily in the southern parts of the country where shelters are overcrowded and the killing of adoptable dogs is prevalent. Through a network of volunteers, an undeserved death is prevented, medical needs are tended to, and transportation, as well as a loving foster family, are provided to the pups on their journey to finding their forever homes!

Meet Rhett FKA Torben

Torben, a handsome boy ready to be your best friend and who is as just as sweet as his chocolate colored fur. This two year old is already house and crate trained, plus walks well on a leash. Torben is very food motivated which will make learning new tricks and commands easy as long as a tasty treat is involved. He doesn't even mind wearing doggie clothes all while still being one cool dude! Torben is dog friendly and would do particularly well dogs similar in size to his 60lbs. He can be found playing tag and chase with his doggie friends while roaming around in a fenced in yard. Torben can't wait to find his furever home! Is that you?
