Underhound Railroad

Underhound Railroad was formed in 2009 by a group of friends, with a mission of rescuing innocent dogs from death row in Connecticut shelters. Underhound now tries to help wherever possible, focusing primarily in the southern parts of the country where shelters are overcrowded and the killing of adoptable dogs is prevalent. Through a network of volunteers, an undeserved death is prevented, medical needs are tended to, and transportation, as well as a loving foster family, are provided to the pups on their journey to finding their forever homes!

Picasso is a 6 month old puppy with a striking white line running perfectly down the center of his face. He’s as unique on the outside as he is loving on the inside. Picasso is fully potty trained and walks well on a leash. He loves being with his two foster dog siblings and enjoys both playtime with toys and cuddle time on the couch, whether it’s with his humans or his doggie friends. Picasso has a gentle, curious nature and is growing into a confident, affectionate companion. Whether he’s exploring, playing, or just relaxing by your side, he’s always happy to be close to those he loves.
