Rosco (STRAY -NOT YET AVAILABLE)

Ninna's Road to Rescue

I, Ninna Lopez, have been in rescue since 2007, managing a large no-kill shelter before starting Ninna's Road to Rescue in 2012. We have rescued and rehomed 1000's of animals. Our facility is climate controlled and the animals stay indoors at night in specially designed doggy rooms. They have access to the outdoors during the day in a large fenced in area. It's a little bit of paradise for the dogs until they find their furever home.

Meet Rosco (STRAY -NOT YET AVAILABLE)

STRAY NEW INTAKE 3/13/2024 STRAY HOLD THRU END OF DAY 3/18/2024 We named them Rosco and Bosco.  This is Rosco.  These dogs showed up at a home on Hwy 157 close to Hwy 528.  Rosco appears to have a bum leg.  We posted them both on social media while they were still at the home... but no one came forward so we took them in.  Neither are microchipped or altered.  We have notified Bossier City Animal Control that we have them they have both been registered in their system.  If no one comes forward by END OF DAY on 3/18/2024, they will head to the vet for vetting.  Rosco is heavily matted but we can't really do anything because he's in pain with the back left leg.  We will need to figure out what's going on there and then try to get a handle on his coat. Rosco appears to be a Schnauzer/Poodle mix of some sort; 18.2 pounds and about 3 years old.  Bosco is a Schnauzer mix, 16.4 pounds and about 3 years old as well.  You must show proof this is your dog via pictures... vet records, etc. We don't go off of "see if the dog will answer to xxxx". We don't go off of someone just saying the dog is their dog. You must have PROOF! We do NOT take applications for dogs on stray hold. You will need to wait until the dog is officially posted for adoption provided no owner comes forward before stray hold is up BY END OF DAY 3/18/2024.

Adoption Process
On-line adoption application required. If approved and at adoption we require adoption agreement, spay/neuter contract for puppies/kittens - adoption fees vary from $85 for felines and $150-$250 for dogs (varying depending on age, health, behavior, etc.) Adopters must have responsible dog-ownership history and stellar vet reference if applying to adopt a dog and vice versa for cats.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
