I'M FRANKIE!  Oh, I mean...Hello, my name is Frankie.  I am still working on my manners and I'm just so excited to meet you!  I am an Australian Shepherd mix and I'm around a year old.  I weigh approximately 20 pounds and will be neutered and up to date on shots before being placed.  I am a higher energy breed so I am looking for an active home where we can all have fun together.  Maybe we could go to the beach?  Or you could teach me to fetch the frisbee?  Oh, a hike?! That sounds so fun! I am doing really good on my house training.  I am housebroken for the most part but sometimes will have an accident here and there.  I'm still learning and have been told I'm really smart, so finishing my training should be really easy!  I would prefer a home with a yard, but it will need a secure fence.  I sometimes like to pretend I'm Houdini and will let you know where you have a weak spot in your fencing.  A secure fence will keep me safe and put an end to my days as a magician.  That's ok, I need to learn a new hobby anyways. I am a very friendly boy and get along with all people, dogs, cats, and kids.  I would do best in a home with older children since I am a puppy and have puppy energy sometimes.  I might be a little overwhelming for a baby.  I love hanging out with my humans and will gladly use you as my pillow for naps if that's okay with you!  I am crate trained but sleeping with my human at night sounds amazing! I love toys and would really like a home that provides lots of things for me to chew on and play with.  I'm not destructive but I really like my chew toys!  They keep me busy and happy!  I really like food...all food...treats are amazing!  I can't wait to learn all the tricks you can teach me since I am willing to work for my dinner!  I sometimes want everyone else's dinner too though if they don't eat it fast enough.  I just love food!  I can't wait to meet my human and do all the things!  If you think I would be a good fit in your active home (and you like giving cute dogs treats) please apply today for ME!  www.tireddogrescue.org NOTE: Sometimes the dogs are adopted out and Tired Dog Rescue is not notified, so we will confirm this once  your application or inquiry is received.
