NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 5/16/2025: Laurel - female - 1-2 years old - 48.12 pounds - Golden Retriever/ Poodle mix or some type of doodle or maybe a Standard Poodle Reason for intake: Laurel came to us from animal control. Look at this mess! People get these dogs not realizing the expensive upkeep! This poor girl has at least 4 inches thick of matting. When we went to microchip her... we had to dig and dig to find her skin. As soon as we checked her in, we sent her directly to our groomer, Wendy. Thank goodness she got us in quickly because we could not watch this girl suffer one more second than she needed to. Wendy worked her magic and WOW... we had no idea she was white!... and check out the nails! Laurel is heading to our vet on May 22, 2025, for spaying and everything else she needs! Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. Adoption Process
On-line adoption application required. If approved and at adoption we require adoption agreement, spay/neuter contract for puppies/kittens - adoption fees vary from $85 for felines and $150-$250 for dogs (varying depending on age, health, behavior, etc.) Adopters must have responsible dog-ownership history and stellar vet reference if applying to adopt a dog and vice versa for cats.
