It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Leonardo is treat motivated, which makes training a breeze, and he already knows how to sit like a pro.He’s playful, quirky, and always ready for his next adventure. Whether he's strutting his stuff on leash (he’s great at it!) or soaking up affection, Leonardo shines with a loving spirit and a goofy streak that’s impossible to resist.If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you smiling and moving, Leonardo might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and love into his forever home.Can you open your heart and home to this adorable rescue dog? Fostering is a rewarding experience that provides stability and love a homeless animal needs while we search for a forever family. Don't worry, we'll provide you with all of the essentials and support you may need throughout the fostering process. Your kindness can make a world of difference in the life of a homeless animal. We do allow foster to adopt homes, so, if you fall in love and want to become a forever home, you will have priority for adoption consideration! If you can offer a temporary foster home, please complete a foster application at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
