Meet Kenzo

Kenzo (means "strong and healthy" in Japanese) is a male Border Collie mix. He is almost 2 years old, up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. He had to have his leg amputated after being hit by a car. It doesn't slow him down one bit though. This boy is like an energizer bunny and is always moving. He is very smart, true to the Border Collie breed. He is good with other dogs. Kenzo will need a home with NO cats and probably older kids (8+). He would do best with a fenced yard and someone that has herding breed experience. Kenzo is on medication and is going to training for some behavioral issues. His adopter will need to continue both. He has made huge strides and would definitely excel with someone dedicated to helping him improve his social skills.

Adoption Process
The adoption process consists of the adopters meeting the animals, filling out a bit of paper work, verification of adoption application information, paying the adoption fee, and agreeing to a post-placement home visit. The adoption fees are: $120 for dogs/puppies older than 6 months and $150 for puppies under 6 months old. Cats/kittens are $85. The adoption agreement is legally binding.
