ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED!! Our sweet beagle boy OZ is now 38 pounds and feeling fabulous. His playful side is really starting to emerge. He loves to run and play with stuffy toys. He will also give you an adorable head tilt that's hard to resist. Oz loves "spa days", he's a big fan of a nice bath. Oz is about 10 years old but he's a spry guy. He is currently 38 pounds and working on a slim down plan, only 5 or 6 pounds to go! His blood work looks good, he's a healthy, happy boy. Now all Oz needs to make life perfect is a loving home of his own. Oz is dog friendly but not particularly interested in other dogs, he would be fine as an only child. He ignores cats. He's house broken, crate trained and bell trained. Will you give this sweet fun senior boy a chance? If you'd like to meet OZ please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet for an approved adopter. You can meet OZ at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
