Meet Shelby

Shelby is ready to embark on a new chapter in her life with a forever family. At almost 6 years old and weighing around 80 lbs, Shelby is the perfect companion for those seeking a loyal and affectionate furry friend. She is house and crate trained, making her an ideal addition to any home.  While Shelby is very easy to direct, a cat-free environment would be best suited for her. Having lacked attention in her previous life, she cherishes every moment of affection she receives. Although she tends to pull on a lead due to excitement, a harness helps manage her enthusiasm when going outside.  Recently, Shelby has truly begun to embrace the joys of life. She gets along well with other dogs, enjoying their company during playful runs. As Shelby eagerly awaits her forever family, you can make her wait more enjoyable by donating a gift from her wishlist below. Your contribution will bring joy to Shelby's days as she patiently waits for her perfect home. Shelby is up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives, spayed and microchipped, and truly LOVES EVERYONE!

Adoption Process
The adoption process consists of the adopters meeting the animals, filling out a bit of paper work, verification of adoption application information, paying the adoption fee, and agreeing to a post-placement home visit. The adoption fees are: $120 for dogs/puppies older than 6 months and $150 for puppies under 6 months old. Cats/kittens are $85. The adoption agreement is legally binding.
