Chloe

PawPrints Animal Rescue Inc

PawPrints Animal Rescue was founded in 2015 in the Northern Kentucky area by a group of five dedicated people with a passion for animals. Our goal is to save as many lives as we can by saving all breeds of dog and cats that are at risk of euthanasia in area shelters. With the help of an amazing group of volunteers, all animals are fostered in loving homes until they are adopted. We are an all volunteer organization and rely on donations from the public to cover medical expenses and necessary supplies.

Fenced yard.  Chloe is a skittish dog so needs a home with a fenced in yard.  She will need time to acclimate to her new home and needs a fence to keep her safe.  She does not enjoy taking walks and finds them to be very scary.   She is a trip hazard so a home with someone with mobility issues would not be a good match.   Cats: She's a bit bossy with cats and because of this we recommend a home without them. We will consider a home with cats that are very dog savvy.  Kids: Chloe is timid and would do best in a quieter home. She tends to hide when there are loud noises. Older children should be fine as long as they understand she may take time to adjust.  Potty Trained: Chloe does really well on a scheduled. She may not signal that she needs to go out, but routine helps prevent accidents. She is also used to having access to pee pads and uses them.  Dogs: Chloe can be a bit nervous with larger dogs and does best with dogs similar to her small size. We are REQUIRING another dog to be in the home with her. This will help her nervous personality adjust to her knew home.  Leash Manners: Chloe prefers the comfort of her own yard and therefor has not had much leash training.  Adoption Process: Step 1:     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.
