PawPrints Animal Rescue Inc

PawPrints Animal Rescue was founded in 2015 in the Northern Kentucky area by a group of five dedicated people with a passion for animals. Our goal is to save as many lives as we can by saving all breeds of dog and cats that are at risk of euthanasia in area shelters. With the help of an amazing group of volunteers, all animals are fostered in loving homes until they are adopted. We are an all volunteer organization and rely on donations from the public to cover medical expenses and necessary supplies.

Meet Dolly

Good golly, I'm Dolly! My foster mom named me Dolly because she says I'm sweet like something called a doll baby. I love two things in this world, my person and treats! If you give me love and snacks, I'll give it right back (love that is)! Because I'm getting a bit older (a little over 3 years old, according the vet), I really like my quiet cuddle time. So if you're laid back and like snuggles, then I'm the pup for you! But don't let my relaxed demeanor fool you, I'm still young and like to run around... when the time is right. I'm an ideal apartment dog since I'm just the right size, and pretty relaxed at home! While I love all humans (even the small ones!), other dogs are not my favorite. I would love a home where I'm the only dog. If you do have another furry friend at home, I would prefer them to be just as laid back as me, and I will need a very slow introduction to acclimate. I'm fully house trained, so no need to worry about any accidents! If you'd like, I can nap in my crate when you're not home, but I prefer to be free to snooze the day away on the couch. I can't wait to meet you and give you all my love!   *Because Dolly is very hesitant with other dogs, she is open to a trial adoption in which a refund of her entire adoption fee will be given if you determine she isn't a good match within the first 30 days. She currently lives in a home with another dog, and it took her about 2-3 weeks to be comfortable with him, so giving it time is important for her to acclimate.   Adoption Fee:  $300.00 (plus tax for KY residents)     Adoption Process: Step 1: Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under Adopt. Adopters must live within 100 miles of Florence, KY. Step 2: PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3: IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. Step 4: If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit.

Adoption Process
Approved Application, Home Visit, Adoption Contract, Typical fees are: $300 Puppies, $250 Adult dogs, $150 pair of kittens and $75 Adult cats Adopters must be a minimum of 24 years of age.

Look for other dogs for adoption!
