It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Where are my German Shepherd people at?! I need a owner who understands the breed and everything that I need to thrive! Meet Paul, the German Shepherd with a heart as loyal as his eyes are striking. He came in as a stray,so no backstory, but we see a future full of belly rubs, treats, and a forever family soon. Paul is ready to make you his *one and only* human. Whether you’re into long walks, couch cuddles, or pretending you can resist his puppy-dog eyes (spoiler: you can't), Paul’s got your back. He's waiting for his foster home (remember fosters get first dibs on adoption when he's ready) where he can show off his skills in unfiltered love, fluffiness, and being 100% handsome!
