Meet Tulip

We can't decide if TULIP needs an adopter or a talent agent. She should absolutely have her own TV show. TULIP is one fun little puppy. She's a mixed breed girl, probably an Australian Cattle Dog (aka blue heeler) mix. Tulip is a live wire, full of playful puppy energy. Snapping photos of her challenging. Holding still is not easy for this little wiggle worm. She loves to run and play with other dogs and would be happiest in a home with another playful dog. She's currently around 5 months old and 17 pounds. Our best guess is she will be around 35 pounds when fully grown. If you would like to meet Tulip, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhosuerescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Tulip at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate if she's still available. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
