Meet Maggie

Meet Maggie!! Maggie is a 2 year old Havanese dog rescued from a puppy mill. She weighs 7.3 pounds and is scheduled to be spayed in late July. She is in good health and UTD on her vaccines. Maggie was a failed breeder…..she didn’t produce enough puppies or was not a good mother. She was of no use to the breeder and lucky for her, she ended up in our rescue at just 2 years old. Maggie is still a puppy in so many ways. She needs chew toys or she will find something else to chew! She is full of energy and very happy. She will bond closely to her person and want to be next to them. She gets along great with her 3 foster dog siblings and doesn't bother the 2 resident cats. She is making excellent progress on house breaking. She has been easy to work with in that department! She sleeps in her kennel in our bedroom all night, but loves a good nap next to you. She stays in her dog pen when we are out of the house to help with her house training. She LOVES being outside and getting better at walking on a leash. She takes long walks on our farm off lead and stays with the group. Maggie is afraid of men and has nipped out of fear when she feels cornered. She needs a female owner and a household without small children. She would love a dog friend to help her learn more about about being a loved pet dog and keep her company when her person has to be out. Are you the person of Maggie’s dreams?Adoption Fee $400.
