It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Currently fostered at Daisy's Pet Playground, Aspen has had the opportunity to interact with a variety of dogs, displaying excellent social skills and impeccable manners. While Aspen adores children, it's important to note her excitable nature during playtime. With proper supervision and guidance, Aspen is sure to be a cherished playmate for little ones. When it comes to feline friends, Aspen remains indifferent, showing neither a strong dislike nor a particular affinity. With a heart as big as Aspen's, there's plenty of love to share with the right forever family. If you feel that Aspen would be the perfect addition to your home, don't hesitate to apply to adopt at A lifetime of love and companionship awaits with Aspen by your side.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
