It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Armand—a name that means "soldier," and this little guy is ready to march into your heart! Born in December 2024, Armand is a male terrier mix currently weighing about 30 lbs. He was surrendered to our Daviess County location as part of an accidental litter and is now enjoying life with our friends at Daisy’s Pet Playground.Playful and full of energy, Armand is looking for someone to give him the love and attention he needs to grow into a confident, loyal companion.
