It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

 Currently located at our Chrisney, IN locationBuddy Zander is a handsome black and white pittie with a heart as big as his love for treats! At just over a year old, he still has that fun-loving puppy spirit but is working hard on his manners like the good boy he’s meant to be.His favorite things in the world? Ball toys, belly rubs, and, of course, treats! Whether he’s playing fetch or showing off his best puppy eye look for a snack, Buddy Zander is always ready to bring joy and energy into your home.He’s looking for an active, loving family who will continue to help him grow into the best pup he can be.
