It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet the charming Brad, a handsome boy eagerly awaiting his forever home! Known for his gentle nature and love for cuddles, Brad was rescued along with his sister Brenda on March 29th after being found as strays, unfortunately without any family to claim them. We estimate Brad to be a 2-year-old retriever mix weighing 75 pounds. Although he is heartworm positive, rest assured that we are taking care of his treatment.His adoption fee has been generously sponsored by the wonderful Daviess County Volunteers! All our animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on their vaccinations.You can meet Brad and his friends at our Owensboro location (2620 KY-81).
