It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Pepe Le Pew

Introducing Pepe Le Pew, the charming 3-year-old Husky with stunning salt and pepper fur! Weighing in at a solid 90 pounds, Pepe is ready to find his forever home where he can share his delightful personality and unique charm. Pepe was originally a stray in Spencer County, and now he's looking for a loving family to call his own. Known for being talkative, Pepe is a true "gab pal" who loves to express himself and keep his humans entertained with his vocal antics. To ensure a perfect match, Pepe requires an on-site meet and greet with other dogs. His compatibility with cats and kids is currently unknown, so proper introductions would be necessary in those scenarios. If you're looking for a loyal and engaging companion who will always keep you company with his lively chatter, Pepe Le Pew is the perfect dog for you. Apply to adopt this handsome Husky at ITVrescue.org and give him the loving home he deserves! All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.
