Meet Jolene

Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jooolllleeeenne... Now that we have that song stuck in your head, meet Jolene! She won't steal your man, but she will steal you heart!  Jolene is about 2 years old and full of bouncy energy! Jolene is a believed to be a hound/heeler mix! She loves to sniff around in the yard, so she needs a good fenced yard where she can safely burn energy! Once she got settled, she would thrive with training as she loves pleasing people. Her forever home must be ready to give her lots of exercise to avoid problems later! She seems to do well with dogs she was tested with, and we are unsure about cats at this time (we will test.)  If you would like to add Jolene to your family., fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org. Adoption Process
First, we do ask that an application be filled out on the animal the person is interested in. Once approved, we can set up to meet the animal, which will already be vetted (spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heart worm tested, etc.). The fee for adoption starts at $125. There is a contract that also needs signed at the time of adoption.
