It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

This sweet girl is full of joy, goofiness, and affection — truly a ham in the best way.Tempest is great with kids and other dogs, making her a wonderful fit for a family or multi-pet home. She’s famous for her hilarious zoomies and will keep you laughing with her silly antics and big heart.She’s young, playful, and ready to bring endless love and entertainment to her forever home.Tempest is waiting to meet her people — could that be you? If you'd like to adopt, Tempest, submit an application at ITVrescue.org. All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.
