Meet Louie

Louie was rescued in honor of Eloise, a sweet senior we recently had to say goodbye to.  Louie is a 10 month old bundle of love, weighing in at a perfect 45 lbs. While he might grow a little more, we don't expect him to be much bigger. This charming pups gets along well with other dogs, and while we are still learning about his feeling towards cars, he proving to be an affectionate and adaptable companion.  Louie adores giving kisses cuddling up close, and showing off his smarts, he's eager to please and highly trainable! We can already tell he'd love adventures and will make a fantastic travel buddy, especially since he's such a good boy in the car! If you want to make Louie a part of your family, fill out an application at www.barktownrescue.org/adopt

Adoption Process
First, we do ask that an application be filled out on the animal the person is interested in. Once approved, we can set up to meet the animal, which will already be vetted (spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heart worm tested, etc.). The fee for adoption starts at $125. There is a contract that also needs signed at the time of adoption.
