Meet Marshmallow 2024

Meet MARSHMALLOW, a darling little girl who is every bit as sweet and fluffy as her name suggests. Marshmallow is about 18 months old and fully grown at just 15 pounds. She is a poodle mix, probably a Poodle/Bichon cross or Poodle/Havanese cross. She came to us from a hoarding/backyard breeder case where we're told they were breeding Havapoos, Cavapoos and Poochons. Marshmallow is a lively, friendly little girl with a sweet disposition. She's slightly timid when meeting new people but easily be won over with yummy treats. She walks well on a leash and is a perfect passenger in the car. Marshmallow has never known life as an only dog and is very playful, she MUST go to a home with another playful dog. Marshmallow's coat is currently a bit overgrown and messy, she is a dog who MUST be groomed regularly. Her adopter should be prepared for this expense every 6 weeks or so. We are happy to schedule a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
