Kentucky Kitty Cats, Inc.

We have been doing this for over 8 years and just continue to evolve. Our main goal is to keep cats out of our shelters so they don’t get sick and die or be euthanized. We used to hold kitties till 3-4 months and spay/neuter and send to larger rescues for store adoptions. Many of the cats we get do not do well in the stores or are skittish when we get them. So we began looking for quality homes with experienced cat owners. It seems the more we do, the less the shelters around us do. They closed their doors to intakes back early in March when the virus hit and cats are being thrown everywhere to birth and nurse kittens in the cold outdoors or wherever they can try to find safety. It is heartbreaking. Since so many new fosters have stepped up, we decided now was our time to grow. But my records are a mess. I need desperate help.

Meet Brody Luv

Winston is one of 6 puppies from Annie. He is so sweet he even has a heart on his side.  he’s a very typical beagle puppy that loves to play and snuggle. Potty training is going well for him, but being a puppy, he will need to be redirected to chew on approved puppy safe items.    It took us 2 months to catch sweet Annie because she was terrified, but she is doing great now. We were able to catch her just 5 days before she delivered her beautiful babies. Fortunately we have been working this area for a while, and know much about the puppies genetics. Long story short, people that won’t spay and neuter suck, and the dogs paid for it. Puppies grandma on dad’s side was a lab mix with a dominate lab look. Grandpa on dad’s side is a gorgeous coon hound. Their pups is the dad that was with Annie, which is a full blooded smaller beagle. Winston is the only dominantly white pup of the litter. He reminds us of a lemon beagle, but may possibly be bigger than a beagle. Please don’t ask us their potential size. Your guess is as good as ours.

Adoption Process
We generally adopt out fully vetted cats and older kittens, but we are attempting some new options. Since the covid we have taken in over 140 felines, and we are not set up for this. We have cats everywhere and lots of new fosters; many of which intend to adopt once cats are spayed/neutered.
