It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Currently located at our Chrisney, IN locationMeet Kopper, a sweet male Hound mix born in May 2025! With his tan and black coat and a touch of white, Kopper is as handsome as he is friendly. He gets along well with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a perfect fit for a family home. Full of love and personality, Kopper is ready to find his forever family and bring joy to every day.Apply to adopt Kopper at ITVrescue.org!All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.
