Meet Cinnabon 2025

Oh CINNABON!!  Pretty girl, we want to give you all the treats and all the toys and all the love. Okay we're a little obsessed with this gorgeous red beagle. She was on the run in a rural area and it took some good samaritans weeks to get her to safety and now it's our turn to find her the wonderful home she so richly deserves. There's a sadness in her soulful eyes, clearly her young life hasn't been a happy one but she's learning how wonderful life can be living in a house with soft beds, regular meals, toys, kind humans and playful fur siblings. She is blossoming in the loving care of her foster family. She loves playing in the yard with the other dogs and will happily amuse herself with toys indoors. She's still a little nervous indoors, but settles down for a nap on the sofa pretty quickly. Oh wait, we haven't even talked about her long velvety ears yet. Seriously, Cinnabon is a stunning girl. Cinnabon is 2 years old at most and fully grown at 29 pounds. She needs a home with an adopter who will take a little time to earn her trust. She must have a friendly playful fur sibling who will help her navigate her new life. She's fine with other dogs and cats, housebroken and crate trained. She needs a physically-fenced yard to keep her from following her beagle nose into trouble. If you'd like to meet Cinnabon, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Cinnabon at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.   All our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.

Adoption Process
We offer Foster To Adopt for dogs adoptions. You must complete the application, be approved and pay a $100 deposit ($150 puppies). You can then take the dog home for a trial visit of up to one week This will help you determine if you and the dog are the right match. If yes, then you can finalize the adoption. If no, then you return the dog to us and you are welcome to try a different dog. complete the necessary paperwork and pay a $100 deposit for adult dogs and $150 for puppies (cash, check or credit card). This fee is non-refundable, and will be applied to the adoption fee if you decide to finalize the adoption. The adoption fee includes the dog's spay/neuter surgery, parvo/distemper shots and rabies shots (for dogs over 6 months), deworming, microchipping, flea and tick protection, heartworm testing (for dogs over 6 months), and monthly heartworm protection until the dog gets adopted.
