For a title we are an Animal Shelter. But, to everyone that works here it is much more to us than just animal shelter. We are all very driven when it comes to helping and rescuing the animals that we do. Everyone that is working here has been here 7+ years. But, we all have been caring for animals for longer than we can remember. We treat all the animals we encounter like they are our own with the love and attention they deserve.

Meet Ernie

Hi Friends!! This is Ernie, a neutered male Shepherd -Lab mix, about 2 years old. Everyone thinks that he is an older dog when they first see him, because of the white on his face. Ernie is the FRIENDLIEST dog at Project Hope!! When the school children came from New Simpson Hill to visit, he let every one of them pet him and give him hugs!! Let's share him and get him a home where he can get lots of love every day! If you'd like to make him part of your home, please call 618-638-4555 to make an appointment to meet him. Adoption Process
First, you will fill out an application. If approved, we will offer a two week trial before you finalize the adoption. If you choose to adopt you will come in fill out all paperwork. Contract, vaccine info, disclosures and microchip info and then you will pay. You will get a copy of everything you sign also.
