Kentucky Kitty Cats, Inc.

We have been doing this for over 8 years and just continue to evolve. Our main goal is to keep cats out of our shelters so they don’t get sick and die or be euthanized. We used to hold kitties till 3-4 months and spay/neuter and send to larger rescues for store adoptions. Many of the cats we get do not do well in the stores or are skittish when we get them. So we began looking for quality homes with experienced cat owners. It seems the more we do, the less the shelters around us do. They closed their doors to intakes back early in March when the virus hit and cats are being thrown everywhere to birth and nurse kittens in the cold outdoors or wherever they can try to find safety. It is heartbreaking. Since so many new fosters have stepped up, we decided now was our time to grow. But my records are a mess. I need desperate help.

Meet Princess

Meet Princess! Princess is a small 2-year-old Feist mix who is ready to finally find her forever castle! Life hasn’t been fair to her—she’s been passed around for the past 6 months through no fault of her own. But through it all, Princess has kept her sweet spirit and loving heart. She adores being with her human and will happily be your loyal companion in whatever you do. One of her favorite things is car rides—she hops right in and enjoys every moment by your side.Princess would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention. She is a bit too eager and rough with cats, but with her humans she is affectionate, devoted, and eager to bond. She is even starting to learn tricks and commands. If you’re looking for a faithful friend who is ready to love you for life, Princess is waiting to be your happily-ever-after.

Adoption Process
We generally adopt out fully vetted cats and older kittens, but we are attempting some new options. Since the covid we have taken in over 140 felines, and we are not set up for this. We have cats everywhere and lots of new fosters; many of which intend to adopt once cats are spayed/neutered.
