Meet Pupperoni in MI - Loves Being The Greeter!

Pupperoni is a confident, easy-going, super social boy who is just as happy to cuddle up on the couch as he is to go on an adventure! He will bounce with all four feet off the ground and bark excitedly when he sees his favorite squeaky toy, or when he thinks we are going for a W-A-L-K or car ride :) He enjoys playtime with the other dogs but what he really loves is being with his people! He's super affectionate and snuggly and loves attention! He is always the first to greet visitors, but he is very well-mannered and will sit politely for pets. Pupperoni is fully housebroken, crate trained, knows how to sit, down, shake, and wait, and is getting pretty good with recall! He's very eager to please, and training him has been super fun and easy. He's great with kids, cats, dogs, and everybody he's ever met. Pupperoni will require a home with a secure fenced yard and with a calm, confident canine sibling to help him continue to navigate the dog world. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. If you can't foster or adopt at this time, please consider helping our Neediest Cases or making a tax-exempt donation by visiting our Donate page.
