Saving Death Row Dogs

SDRD is a state licensed 501(c)3 non-profit no kill dog rescue and group foster home located in Topeka, KS. It is our goal to network with other local rescues and shelters to save dogs that are at risk for being euthanized due to lack of space. We are committed to educating the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, along with the dangers of purchasing a dog from a pet store or puppy mill.

Hi I’m Meatball! I’m a little slower to approach new people. It’s not that I don’t like them, I just prefer to hang back a little at first. I’m very sweet and a great cuddler. I love playing with my siblings and the other dogs in my foster home. My momma is just 24 lbs but we are thinking daddy is a bigger guy as I seem to be outgrowing momma fast. Adoption Process
Complete adoption application, all pets in home must be spayed/neutered and current on shots, do a home check and vet check, sign an adoption agreement, agree that dog is returned in unable to keep, adoption fee is $200.
