Arlo is a gentle and affectionate 8 yr old doxy mix who loves nothing more than being by your side. He has a calm and relaxed demeanor, but he also has a playful side that comes out whenever he sees his person or a playmate...another dog :) He’s been great with people of all ages, and he enjoys the company of other dogs as well, that we can tell in the week he has been with us and our 4 fur kids. Arlo would do best in a home with someone who can give him plenty of love, attention, and patience to bond with them. A quiet and peaceful environment with a yard to play and quickly do his business would be awesome (did we mention not one accident here? This rockstar appears to be 100 percent house-trained!). Arlo would also benefit from someone who can take him on an occasional walk and regular vet visits to work on getting a pound or two off (he is currently 22 lbs). What can we say? He likes his Christmas cookies! That is a given for most of us. :)   Arlo's heart is full of love and loyalty. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cherish every moment with you, this beautiful boy is your guy.   Approximate Birthdate:   12/01/2015 Adoption Fee: $200.00 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming.  TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL. Adoption Process
Those interested in adopting must fill out an online application, we then schedule an initial meeting with them and the animal, followed by a home visit. An adoption contract is required and the adoption fees range from $65 to $250.
