Saving Death Row Dogs

SDRD is a state licensed 501(c)3 non-profit no kill dog rescue and group foster home located in Topeka, KS. It is our goal to network with other local rescues and shelters to save dogs that are at risk for being euthanized due to lack of space. We are committed to educating the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, along with the dangers of purchasing a dog from a pet store or puppy mill.

Meet Benson

Hi I’m Benson! I found myself looking for a new family when my previous owner lost their home and didn’t know what to do. I’m a very sweet boy that loves people. I haven’t had experience with kids or cats yet with the rescue, but if you have those and are interested we can always introduce and see how it goes. I’m a pretty calm boy so I’ll likely do ok. Adoption Process
Complete adoption application, all pets in home must be spayed/neutered and current on shots, do a home check and vet check, sign an adoption agreement, agree that dog is returned in unable to keep, adoption fee is $200.
