Saving Death Row Dogs

SDRD is a state licensed 501(c)3 non-profit no kill dog rescue and group foster home located in Topeka, KS. It is our goal to network with other local rescues and shelters to save dogs that are at risk for being euthanized due to lack of space. We are committed to educating the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, along with the dangers of purchasing a dog from a pet store or puppy mill.

Meet Juniper

Hello, I'm Juniper, but my foster family calls me Juni! I am a very active 2 year old cattle-dog mix. Just like juniper bushes never lose their leaves, I never lose my smile! I'm a sweet girl who has a lot of love to give to my forever family. I enjoy cuddling with people and giving them kisses, playing with my toys, and getting treats! I would thrive in a home with another dog to play with! I am both potty and crate trained, so I will easily adapt to your lifestyle. I walk well on a leash, but sometimes I still get nervous walking by cars. My only downside is that I do shed quite a bit, even with regular brushing, so I hope you have a good vacuum! Adoption Process
Complete adoption application, all pets in home must be spayed/neutered and current on shots, do a home check and vet check, sign an adoption agreement, agree that dog is returned in unable to keep, adoption fee is $200.
