Meet Asti

Meet Asti, an adorable, 4.5-month-old, 14 lb., female Boxer/Basset hound mix. Asti is looking for her forever lap and is the perfect size at less than 20 lbs for this!  She is destined to be a low-rider with her short legs and long-box stature.  She absolutely adores snuggling and being in warm blankets with her person or in a puppy pile. Asti likes tennis balls and playing tag or chase with two larger dogs in her foster home.  She holds her own during playtime, tumbling and bouncing with a ceaseless wagging tail.  She has not been around cats or kids, but would likely do well with proper introduction and supervision.   She is almost fully potty trained, with only accidents when kenneled for a lengthy amount of time.  Asti understands basic commands (sit, kennel, outside/potty), does well on a leash and follows the lead of other dogs.  She is food motivated and patiently waits for her "water cookie" (ice cube) from the fridge dispenser. Siblings: Wyatt  (M), Wilbur  (M), Ozzy (M), Asti (F), Autumn (F)  If you are interested in meeting Asti, please complete an online application at  https://hopeanimalrescueofiowa.duplie.com/forms/196/dog-application Adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines.
