Sweet Pea was born on 12/4/2023, she was one puppy in a litter of ten that came into rescue when their momma required an emergency c-section. Sweet Pea lives in a foster home with other dogs and cats, we think that she will do best in a home with another confident and playful dog! Sweet Pea loves to play and burn off her puppy energy, then she'll contently settle in for snuggles! Sweet Pea is a smart pup and will do terrific in her FREE basic training class that is included with her adoption, she already does terrific with a snuffle mat for enrichment and quickly learned to sit pretty! The adoption fee Sweet Pea is $300 and includes her distemper, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, multiple rounds of dewormer and a microchip. Included in the adoption fee for each puppy is a free beginner training class at Cedar Run Company #2 in Hiawatha! Last Hope requires that adopters have a history of having kept any current/former pets altered, as indoor pets only and kept current on all vaccines and preventatives. Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit. Please submit an adoption application today through our website, Adopthope.org!
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
