Meet Betsy

We are an all-volunteer/foster home-based rescue. Fill out the form by clicking on the picture of the computer screen with our logo on it.  Hi! I'm Betsy. I am a very sweet girl. I am just starting my journey to become a house pet. Learning all about house training, wearing a harness and walking on a leash. I do not know any recall commands, I'm just learning my name. I do require a fenced yard. Can you be my furever home? I am 5 yrs old, I weigh 19 pounds, my adoption fee is $350 plus sales tax $15.75=$365.75   My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, DHPPL, Bordetella, nspay, dental and microchipping.

Adoption Process
Usually we are contacted by a SD shelter about a dachshund that is not doing well (nipping etc.) and that they are going to be put down. We take them in get them vetted and then place them up for adoption after they have been evaluated. We also take calls from folks who have called their local shelter about there dachshund that may have started nipping at small children etc and are told the dog would be put down. We also take calls from other rescues about breeder dogs.
