Eros is a young male pitbull mix that came to Last Hope due to overcrowding in a local city shelter, he is a terrific dog with an easy going laid-back demeanor that will work well in a family home! He has lived with young children easily, and seems to very much enjoy the company of other dogs. He especially enjoys other small to medium sized dog playmates and will happily prance around his new home with a securely fenced in back yard! Eros is potty trained and kennel trained, he is working on perfecting his leash walking skills. Eros loves to be by your side and seeks out affection. The adoption fee for Eros is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccines, heartworm testing and preventatives. Also included in the adoption fee is a free basic training course at Cedar Run Company in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, please submit an adoption application on our website if you would like to meet Eros! Our adoption process includes a vet history check and a home visit, we require that adopters have a history of having kept all pets altered, current on vaccines, preventatives and as indoor pets.
Adoption Process
Prior to adoption, all of our dogs have been tested for heartworm, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. Our adoption process includes reference and background checks, a vet check and home visit.
The adoption fee for dogs and puppies varies.
Prior to adoption, our cats have been tested for feline leukemia, current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered, if age appropriate. If at the time of adoption, the kitten is too young to be spayed or neutered, an agreed upon time frame will be set for when this procedure is to be done. Spaying or neutering is not an optional procedure, it is required of all animals we rescue.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens varies.
